THIS IS OUR PROCHARGER POWERED SMALLBLOCK X275 CAR DRIVEN BY TOMMY KIRK AT MAC FAB BEADLOCK CONVERSIONS. WE CONVERTED THIS CAR FROM NITROUS TO AN F1X PROCHARGER OVER THE WINTER. ON OUR 2ND RUN IT WENT FASTER THAN IT HAD EVER BEEN WITH NITROUS.

Annette and Vernon Summer of Aiken, SC have been involved in drag racing for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching Annette drive and was completely shocked when my phone rang and Annette was on the other end of the line. Annette and I have very similar personalities and she always speaks her mind gets straight to the point. I answered the phone with hello, and the first thing she said was " Do you think your scrawny ass can hold down a clutch?" She said that her and Vernon had given this alot of thought and had chosen me to drive their gorgeous 1957 Chevy Pro Mod. This is beautiful car inside and out and I am extremely honored to have Annette hand over the keys to her hotrod. Vernon looked me straight in the eye and said " Son it takes a real man to drive a girls car"
The 57 had been sitting for over two years when we hit the starter button and fired her up. The very first pass off the trailer I let the clutch out and went .983 to the sixty. followed by a .979 and a .977. This car drives like a Cadillac, and with Annette's very experienced coaching on getting used to the clutch and chassis, we should be in the game in no time. I am handling the tuning and driving duties, Vernon and Jack are tuning the clutch, and Mike and Chris are taking on the between round maintenance. We have jelled very well as a team in only two test sessions and everyone is already like family. Annette and I are so much alike that I swear we are related. The pink parachutes will remain on the car as a testament to Annette's long and successful driving career. Plus Vernon says that once you have pink chutes pulled on you, There isnt really much else you can say.
We plan to enter the car in various Pro Mod races this season including a few ADRL events. We are actively and tenaciously seeking sponsors to partner with for the remainder of this season and beyond.
